Revo

This morning the chanichimot got a thirty-minute sleep-in, followed by a surprise takeover of Machaneh by the Madatz in a rainbow-themed day known as Revo. Led by the leprechaun, tooth fairy, dragon, wizard, and unicorn, chanichimot were taken through the rainbow in competition for the pot of gold at the end. Revo is a special day at Camp Galil. For Revo, the Madatz (our CITs) take over camp for the day. They plan the entire day of programming, the meals, the logistics, and work within a budget. The Bogrimot help the Madatz carry out their plans throughout the day.

The rainbow-themed day was ever present during breakfast when we had homemade lucky charms cereal and colored pancakes (green, purple and red). We also had a cloud-themed lunch with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese.

Highlights of the day included a water balloon fight,  a field day, an obstacle course of clouds, a carnival of rainbow themed stations, a kibud of Oreo pudding, and a concluding Messibah with a balloon pit.The theme of competition among the shikvot (bunks) was highlighted through the multiple skits as well as the field day and obstacle course.

In the end the shikvah that won the pot of gold decided to share their new found wealth with everyone because we are a socialist movement after all. Tomorrow, we have a Yom Ragil (Regular Day).
