Good evening!
Today was a lovely day! Some rain gave the weather a nice cool down, with a high of 83 degrees. We had a wonderful breakfast of bagels, fruit, and cereal, and then after breakfast both the Sayarimot and the Tzophimot set out for tiyul (hiking/camping trip), while the rest of machaneh (camp) went to their avodah (work group).
During Pish Alef (the first age group activity) the Amelimot went on the low ropes course and the Chotrimot had a peula (activity) about respect and then did some team building games. The Bonimot also did some bonding activities, and the Bogrimot continued planning for Bozman (a Bogrimot run evening activity).
A quick note: things like Bozman and Aliyah Bet are meant to be surprises for chanichimot (campers) so we ask that you not mention them to your chanichimot in letters, thank you so much.

Then everyone headed to sports. Due to the weather, everyone headed to the Moadon (club house) to do some Rikud (Israeli folk dancing) and Just Dance. After sports, everyone had some time to wash up before lunch, which was chili, yum! Once lunch was over, chanichimot (campers) had some menucha (rest time).

Next it was time for Pish Bet (the second age group activity). The Amelimot watched Monsters University, the Chotrimot did some kvutzah (group) bonding activities. The Bonimot had some time to plan Aliyah Bet (an activity where the Bonimot organize a night time journey through the woods to make “Aliyah”), and the Bogrimot put the finishing touches on their plans for Bozman, and began making decorations.
After that it was time for Zman Meyuchad (specialist time) but because of the rain, we decided to switch it up a bit today. Everyone went to the Moadon and played cards and boardgames. During Schiya Chofshit (free swim) chanichimot (campers) made their way down to the pool to splash around in the water. Since our numbers were so diminished today with both the Sayarimot and the Tzophimot on tiyul (hiking/camping trip) so we had special Chugim (interest groups) for today only which included Ultimate Frisbee, Extreme Nail Painting, and Invisible Basketball (just like Basketball but the ball is invisible).

Tonight we had a delicious dinner of lasagna and asparagus, which is one of my all time favorites. Tochnit Erev (evening activity) tonight is l’fi shichva (by age group). The Amelimot had some bonding time with snacks, the Chotrimot watched a movie in the Refet (barn), the Bonimot worked on their plans for Aliyah Bet, and the Bogrimot had a spa night to give them a break from all of the hard work they've been doing preparing for Bozman.
See you tomorrow!
- Abby
