Today was a
Yom Ragil (Regular Day) at Camp Galil, which means that we followed our regular schedule today. However, at
Hikansut Boker (Morning Flagpole), the
Amelimot declared an "Amelution" - a Revolution of the Amelimot. They hoisted their own flag up the flagpole and enjoyed ice cream at the
Toren (Flagpole) before heading to breakfast. The Amelution continued all the way through dinner where they led
shira (singing) and taught camp songs that they created.

Announcing the Amelution! |
The
Tzophimot had the opportunity to go to the Ropes Course today. At ropes, they climbed the Giant's Ladder, walked the Heebie Jeebies and zipped down the Zipline. Also today, we did puelot (activities) on
Habonim Dror, our youth movement, and our partner movements around the world, including
HaNoar HaOved VeHaLomed in Israel. This summer, we have five Israelis from HaNoar HaOved on
tzevet (staff) with us.
The
Bonimot also spent a little time preparing for a special
Tikun Olam (Heal the World) trip tomorrow while the
Bogrimot practiced for leading
Kabbalat Shabbat this weekend. The
Madatz enjoyed a slightly different schedule this evening as they held
Madatz Nofesh. Nofesh is a play on the word
Chofesh (free time) in which they took the night off for a much deserved rest after an amazing Revo!
Tonight, the machaneh (camp) participated in
Culam Cahol Adom in which everyone participated in fun activities that
HaNoar HaOved does with their campers in Israel!
